Mr. Sinn
Hi, I am Mr. Sinn! This is my 7th year teaching Elementary Art in St. Paul Schools. I enjoy exploring the different types of Art with my students. In Art there is no wrong answer! Each person can create something that is a part of them. The fun part about teaching Art is when I give an assignment to my students and I get 24 different answers.
Art is a great place to make mistakes. Thats why they put erasers on pencils! Practice, practice, practice and creating Art will soon become easy for anyone.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin, River Falls with my K-12 teaching license.
I am married with 4 grown children and 7 Grand Children. My wife is the Women's basketball Coach at the University of St. Thomas. The art I enjoy doing on my own is photography. I bring my camera with me to most places I go. Shooting wildlife photos of any animals I can find to shooting landscape photos to the places I travel. I even shoot sports photos at basketball games.
How do you save your child's artwork? Putting some art in a frame is one great way. If you don't have the space for it I would recommend taking photos of the art and create a photo-book every year or two. It will be a great keepsake and be a fun memory to look back on as your children get older. They will enjoy looking back on it as well. It's a fun book to put out at their graduation parties!
Don't ever hesitate to just do ART!
