Mrs. Cook (she/her/hers)

Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Cook, and I am a first-grade teacher at Highland Park Elementary. I began my teaching career in 2013 and have experience teaching both kindergarten and first grade. Over the years, I have taught in Milwaukee, WI; Minneapolis, MN; and Saint Paul, MN.

I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and later completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my spouse, our two children, and our dog. As a family, we enjoy biking around the Twin Cities, exploring Minnesota State Parks, traveling, and gardening.

I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to support your student’s first-grade journey!
