Welcome to Mrs. Clausen’s Third Grade!

My name is Mrs. Laura Clausen and I am one of the 3rd grader teachers at Highland Park Elementary. This will be my 18th year of teaching.

I LOVE teaching 3rd graders!

A little bit about me… I was born and raised in St. Paul, attending St. Paul schools. I have 2 sisters, both who are teachers! I live in Lino Lakes with my husband Nick and our 9th grade son Noah. We also have 2 cats, Willow and Juniper. And a dachshund named Bodie.

I received my Masters of Art in Teaching at Hamline University. I also have a BA in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas.

When I am not at school I love to travel, go camping, biking, being creative, work on home improvement projects, and spend time with family and friends.

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!!
