Qualifications: I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2005 and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education in 2011 from St. Catherine University. I am licensed for Elementary grades K - 5 and Science 5 - 8.

Welcome Highland Park Readers!

This school year, I will be your WINN Reading teacher for grades K-2. WINN stands for What I Need Now and Next. I work closely with classroom teachers during the literacy block (guided reading, phonics, and writing) to provide daily differentiated small group instruction. Groups are determined using screening and progress monitoring data to target instruction and meet individual needs.

I have been teaching in St. Paul Public Schools since 2011 and this will be my eighth year at Highland Park Elementary. I live in St. Paul with my husband Andrew and two children. Fun Facts: I enjoy knitting, running, and reading. My goal this school year is to help students unlock the magic of reading to become confident readers and life-long learners. Please feel free to call or email if you have any questions.
