HPES Principal Severns Recognized with IB School Leader Award
Highland Park Elementary Principal Matthew Severns has been recognized as a 2025-2026 Outstanding IB School Leader by the Minnesota Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools (MNIB). The MNIB recognizes that the success and long-term sustainability of any IB school programme depends on many factors, but the dedication and support of an involved and knowledgeable school leader is paramount to this work.
Principal Severns was nominated by the Highland Park Elementary staff for his exceptional work to build a culture of collaboration, engagement, and excellence which has led to successful implementation of the PYP at Highland Park Elementary School.
