Family and teacher communication is a priority. Teamwork is as easy as A, B, C!
*Ask, don't wonder. If you are wondering what is going on or wondering why something is happening, call or e-mail. Don't hesitate to ask a question, express a concern, suggest a solution, or share an idea. *Be involved. Know what your child is studying. We have a weekly classroom newsletter that is sent home and posted on this website. Take advantage of opportunities to volunteer in the classroom or attend a field trip. Share your expertise. Do you have a skill or area of interest you would be willing to share with us?
*Care about homework. Homework is sent home and posted on the website every Thursday. Establish a regular time and place to work on homework and help your child build good homework habits. Additionally, I ask that you read daily with your child. Reading daily and talking about what you read is the most important thing you can do to help your child be successful in kindergarten!
