- September - Innisbrook Gift Wrap Catalog (Goal=$7,000)
High-quality gift wrap, chocolates and gifts.
- November - Direct Appeal (Goal=$3,000)
Letter requesting tax-deductible contribution will be sent to all families.
- February - Theater Night Silent Auction & Raffle (Goal=$9,000)
Students will perform a peace-theme play; desserts, silent auction and raffle will round out the event.
- June - Spring Into Summer-a-thon (Goal=$3,000)
End-of-year activity day at school for all students, with pledges solicited beforehand.

Corporate Partnerships (Goal=$3,000)
- Box Tops 4 Education - Collect box tops from General Mills products and send them to school with your child; they are worth 10 cents each to HPE. Collection boxes located in each classroom and by the office. Last year HPE earned $327.60 from this program. - Kemps Milk Caps - Collect caps from Kemps plastic milk bottles; they are worth 5 cents each to HPE. Collection box located near office. For more information about the Kemps "Nickels for Schools" program visit www.kemps.com/Promo/Default.aspx?id=139
- Office Depot 5% Back to Schools - Buy qualifying school supplies at Office Depot and HPE gets a donation worth 5% of your purchase. Simply ask the cashier to ring up your purchase under HPE's number (#700-550-68) or use that number when ordering online at www.officedepot.com
- Target VISA Red Card - If you have a Target VISA card you can designate Highland Park Elementary to receive a donation in the amount of 1% of your Target purchases and 1/2% of other purchases. Last year HPE earned $1,303.87 from this program. Note: Be sure to indicate Highland Park Elementary (#65578) as your designated school; if you just indicate "Highland" the money may end up going to the junior high or high school. Gardening Gift Cards (Goal=$500)
The PTA is selling pre-paid gift cards from Gertens and Linders. You pay the face value of the card, and HPE keeps 15%. If you expect to shop at either of these garden centers, this is a great opportunity to support HPE with money that you already plan to spend.
